Armenia (Dry) – abv. 13.3%

Translates to “Golden Berry” for the grape’s golden clusters on the vine. This lesser known grape variety will completely satisfy lovers of Old-
World White Burgundy (French Chardonnay), with its crisp stainless nature, high acidity, and notes of crisp apple, citrusy lemon, and lime, and earthy minerality from the pink colored limestone that is commonly found in Armenian soil and commonly used to build Armenian rose-colored buildings. A slight nuance of stone fruit, white flowers, and herbs can be found on the nose.

A bright ruby color with delicate aromas of red berry flavors. Medium bodied and supple with a hint of herbiness, the mouthfeel is very elegant with soft tannins and a subtle oak finish.

2021 Aerni

LIMITED RELEASE– RELEASING ON NOV. 7TH
Armenia (Dry) – abv. 14.5%

This red grape from antiquity exhibits both aromas and flavors of ripe red fruit, such as cherries and red plum. When comparing it to noble grape varieties that we know and love, I say it is similar to Pinot Noir with more alcohol and with a spicy, peppery finish. Or another way to describing it would be saying it is similar to Grenache with higher acidity and a peppery finish. The use of Caucasian oak barrels (Caucasus Mountains north of Armenia) also adds a slight smokiness to the wine.
