The McAlear family is very excited to bring an urban winery experience to the Toledo, Ohio area! We are a local, family-owned and operated business and are conveniently located off of 475 in Maumee.
Our handcrafted wines are made from the highest quality grapes from around the world. Each wine is produced and bottled in our facility in Maumee. Our goal is to provide a space where you can relax and create memories with family, friends, and business associates. Cheers!

The difference between a Waters Edge Winery and a traditional winery is that we do not grow or crush the grapes – we outsource those functions to a global network of vineyards and growers. This lowers the cost of ownership, and removes the biggest risk associated with most wineries.

I just brunch'ed (totally a verb) here with 20 of my friends, and I'm still blissfully happy with the experience.Urban Pine Winery is such an unexpected spot, and now I feel I must tell everyone I know about it so that it never ever leaves.The exterior is rustic, the interior is rustic modern, and the wine and menu is divine. The perfect place for large parties, and never once did we feel like a burden.Big huge fans of the sangria flight. The menu (which I'm told changes seasonally) was awesome.I tried the Pineapple Pear Sangria, it was sweet and delicious. As was the harvest gnocchi, thought it was a touch dry and needed a bit more sauce.Also rave reviews about both the cheese and chocolate charcuterie boards, which we shared with the table.

Urban Pine Winery is a wonderful experience from start to finish. The outdoor patio in the nicer months is absolutely STUNNING!!!! The GM Pat Torongo is a class act and ensures all his guests are well taken care of have a great time. Their house brewed wine is to die for and I would recommend this establishment to everyone!!

Have to leave a review after eating here twice. Food is delicious, the wine is good (and I'm not even much of a wine person), atmosphere is good with music that isn't overwhelmingly loud, the chocolate board for dessert is INSANE. The hosts could use a little more attentiveness/friendliness, but that's because I was once a restaurant hostess and I had it drilled into me that they are essential as a first impression. We had Jessica as our server the first time, and she was awesome. We had such a great experience that we came back tonight, a few months later, for a low-key anniversary dinner. Everything was still good, only they left the black beans out of my cajun chicken. It was still delicious, but our server Melody seemed a little overwhelmed with other tables, so I was almost done with my meal before I was able to ask her about the black beans. All I expected (and needed) was a quick apology and to have the missing beans brought out separately. Instead, she got the manager, who apologized profusely and offered to comp my entree and asked how else to make it right. I said I was perfectly fine with just getting the beans separately, which he did, and they were tasty. He still comped our meal. It was all handled above and beyond the call of duty, so I expect we will come back again on multiple occasions.

Picked up 2 charcuterie boards (meat and cheese and sausage) and the chocolate board for a date night picnic! Also grabbed a bottle of the raspberry dragon fruit sangria. Absolutely fabulous. The staff was so gracious helping me taste and pick the best wine for a special little evening!

Very good wagyu burgers!! Came back for the new menu everything was really good the elote flat bread was amazing. I got a different burger this time and it was also really good. The brisket with corn pudding was also Exceptional.

Many food options. Seated on the patio on a pleasant early evening. As you would expect the traffic was background noise. The interior seems pretty loud due to what I think are metal ceilings. Wine was very enjoyable. Recommend outside seating if weather is agreeable.

Exactly what you'd expect, and then some! They have a wide variety of entrees and appetizers, not to mention an extensive selection of wines. Definitely worth stopping in. They have a super nice outdoor seating section, but that tends to fill up fast on a nice day.

A very nice experience. Went in with a group of women. Server was very helpful in explaining the menue and the beverage selections. Foos was great. I especially enjoyed the selection of sangria and found the sampling offered excellent. I would definitely go there again.

Update:I have left my previous review below for perspective.Food selection has expanded and it changes with the season. Everyone at our table enjoyed the fair. I was pleased to see jambalaya on the menu and it was delicious. I'm happy to see this business be successful and continue to improve. The service was great. I wish they had a sitting style bar, but we can't have everything.This business is great. But, don't take my word for it. Give it a try!*previous review *very nice space with modern decor. This new winery will be very successful. Wines are good and the food ,while limited, was perfect and came out in a flash. The owner has invested well in this new business. I'm looking forward to weekly visits!Pro: Good wine, nice decor, modern feel, patio and good food.Cons: Wine was a little higher than expected, patio is on the east side so no sun in the evening (could be a pro for some).

I've never heard of an urban winery. Still confused on the concept honestly. Do they make wine? Anyway, we enjoyed our time and plan on going back. The food wasn't unique so go to drink.

I enjoyed the flight of Sangria wines, nice for me because I like sweet wines. We had the Chrcuterie board which was nothing special, I did like the olives. I wish they had offered the cheese board the day we were there, I think I would have liked that better.. I had the shrimp Alfredo which was a little skimpy on shrimp but very good. My husband had a chicken and sweet potato dish which he devoured. The chocolate board for dessert was excellent.

Popped in for some wine and Jessica was an excellent server. Tuesday and Wednesday you can create your own flight. I highly recommend this place and the service. It has a great patio too.

Another amazing experience here! Went for my sister in laws bachelorette party and spent an amazing 3, almost 4 hours laughing, drinking amazing wine, amazing food and of course our amazing waitress, Jessica H.!! The Charred artichoke dip with pita crisps was really good as our appetizer. I got the Sangria wine flight, $11 for four 1.5oz tasters. Very good deal! Had the Turkey cheese panini and that was delicious. Reasonable prices, great service and quality. I will be returning, highly recommend!

I am not a wine connoisseur, but really enjoyed the white flight. I am more versed in service and food and both were outstanding! Not to mention the atmosphere and décor. Very modern with earthy touches like the home made wood tables with acrylic accents. The outdoor space was massive! Create option for meeting with friends and feeling safe. I'll be back for sure!

I came here with a few family members this past Saturday, while I only ate the truffle fries all the food coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic. Each of us decided to get a flight of wine and seemed to be an awesome deal compared to other places that are typically over priced in this category. Wether you are coming for a glass of wine, or a nice bite to eat, I would consider giving this place 6 stars if I could. The place appears to be very clean and well taken care of and the owner even came out to say hello! If you are on the egde of going I hope this helps you decide and I hope you have the same great experience I had.

Very nice addition to the local dining scene. The sangria wine flight was very good and the charcuterie board and truffle fries were excellent. Prices are extremely reasonable as well. Also the decor and patio are very cute. Would definitely recommend and return!

Very nice atmosphere. They have both an indoor and outdoor dining area. Our first time here so we tried some of their wine flights and appetizers. Everything tasted very good. We had excellent service and our server was very helpful and friendly. The live entertainment was good too. A great addition to Maumee.

This is one of the best wineries I have been to. The service is phenomenal; the food never disappoints, the wine is spot on. All of the staff is amazing and so nice. Such a great addition to the area. One of the reasons I come here is to interact with the bartender, Kirsten. She is very personable, knowledgeable and full of great positive energy! The manager, Pat is very attentive and always present as well.
